I like these bt when I've had them before (from other places), they are a bit softer. Some are so hard that they are basically not edible. I can't tell whether this is from roasting too long or not roasting long enough. I do know that when I do them myself, the recipe calls for soaking your dried fava beans first and this make them softer when eventually roasted.
