The sugar free bears are great! I am very health conscious. This candy is low in carbohydrates and contains one of the safer sweeteners: malitol. It tastes identical to the old fashioned German licorice which is a little sweet with just a pinch of salty undertone. This is an ideal treat for the insulin resistant who love licorice. Will definitely purchase again. Note: if you are a sugar free licorice scottie fan this licorice is firmer and has a deeper more complex flavor. Also, it is much lower in carbohydrates.
